What does a clearance in Berlin cost? (Cost factors & fixed price 2026)

by Mustafa TeksözPublished on 6 min read

What a clearance in Berlin costs cannot be stated as a blanket figure – the price always follows from your specific property. The decisive factors are the size of the area, how full it is, the floor and whether there is a lift, the access and approach for our van, the quantity and type of material, and your preferred date. This is how you find out your price: we come out for a free inspection, or you send us photos via WhatsApp. You then receive a binding fixed-price quote based on the agreed scope of work – with no billing by the hour. On top of that, the labour costs can be claimed against tax as a household-related service. That way you know exactly what your clearance costs before we lift a finger.

Which factors determine the price?

There is no off-the-peg price for a clearance: what your job costs follows from the actual work involved on site. These are the factors that decide it:

  • Size of the area – square metres or number of rooms
  • How full it is – low, medium, heavy or heavily cluttered (hoarder)
  • Type of property – flat, cellar, attic, house or commercial premises
  • The floor and whether there is a lift
  • Access and approach – how close our van can get, narrow stairwells, a no-parking zone
  • Quantity and type of material – bulky waste, electrical appliances, rubble or hazardous waste
  • Date and urgency – clearances at short notice tie up more staff on a single day

Why there is no flat rate per square metre

Two flats with the same floor area can mean completely different amounts of work: a loosely filled cellar compartment right by the courtyard entrance is not the same as a crammed attic on the fourth floor without a lift. A flat rate that later turns out not to fit is of no help to you. So we calculate your property – and quote you a price that holds.

Up to 20% tax-deductible

The labour costs of a clearance can be deducted from tax as a household-related service at up to 20% (a maximum of €4,000 per year). The prerequisite is payment by bank transfer with a proper invoice – the tax office does not accept cash payment.

How you get to your fixed price

You do not have to calculate or estimate anything to get a price – we take care of that:

  • A free inspection on site – or you send us photos via WhatsApp
  • We record the area, how full it is, the floor, the access and the type of material
  • You receive a binding fixed-price quote based on the agreed scope of work
  • Disposal is shown transparently in the quote, no billing by the hour

A fixed price instead of billing by the hour

With hourly billing, you carry the risk if a clearance takes longer than expected. Our fixed price, by contrast, is settled before we lift a finger and holds through to the swept-clean handover – even if the day runs longer than planned. This way you know in advance what the clearance will cost, without nasty surprises at billing.

Frequently asked questions

There is no fixed price per square metre: the work involved depends on how full the space is, the floor, the access and the type of material. We look at your property free of charge – on site or from photos via WhatsApp – and then quote you a binding fixed price.
